Mr. Stephen Brian Carter, age 53, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, January 13, 2022 in Dalton, GA. He was born March 9, 1968 in Dalton, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Stephen Carter, grandparents, Roy and Bessie Carter, John Burch.

He is survived by his son, Andy Carter of Dalton, GA; mother and stepfather, Cheryl and Joe Maffetone of Chatsworth, GA; mother of his son, Tammy Kirby; grandmother, Gladys Burch; brother, Chris Carter all of Dalton, GA; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

At his request he will be cremated and a service will be held at a later date.
