Mrs. Stella Callahan Sochocki, 87, of Owens Chapel Road, Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday morning, August 25, 2020 at Gordon Hospital. She was born January 30, 1933 in Dalton, GA a daughter of the late W.L. and Gertie Porter. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Forrest Callahan, second husband, Lee Sochocki, brothers, James, Charles, and Bill Porter, sisters, Lillian, Bertha, Rosale, Elizabeth and Kathy, daughters, Connie Elaine and Tracy Callahan.

She is survived by her children, Jeanette and Pat Bennett, Jackie and Marcell Callahan, Gary Callahan, Billy and Ruth Callahan, Chrissy and Johnny Sanford; brother, Paul Porter; sister, Helen Edwards, Louise Davis; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, great great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends that she loved.

Graveside service will be held Friday August 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the cemetery.
