Mrs. Sonja Collins, age 68, of Tennga, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, June 14, 2020 at her home. She was born September 17, 1951 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Gordon and Elizabeth Driggers Staten. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tonya Silvers, brothers, Kethion Preavette, Robert Preavette, sisters, Shelia Staten, Sharon Nicholson.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Kendrick of Crandall, GA, Robin Kendrick of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Thelma Preavette, Jackie and Lynn Page of Dalton, GA; sisters, Angel Page of Dalton, GA, her twin Sonia Powers of Crandall, GA; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

At her request she will be cremated and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
