Mrs. Sigrid E. Siemens Crider, age 87, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Friday afternoon, May 14, 2021 at her home.   Sigrid was born October 14, 1934 in Germany, a daughter of the late Alexander Hander and Meta Anna Bayer Siemens.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Erwin Joseph "Red" Crider who died September 24, 2020, her son, Frank Walter Hall, brothers and sisters-in-law, Hans Siemens, Manfred Siemens, Elsa Siemens, Annie Siemens and Katherine Slaton, a sister, Ursula Siemens, brothers-in-law. Richard Crider, Lamar Crider and Kenneth "Pete" Crider.

Sigrid was retired from ConAgra Poultry and was a member of Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Buddy Ash of Rocky Face, GA, Angela and Mark Carter, Ann and Dean Marler all of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Shaun and Tiffany Wood, Jessica Bandy, Deanna Marler, Alicia Carter, John Carter, Ryan and Chasity Ash, Travis and Kayla Ash, and Alex Ash; eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Sigrid E. Siemens Crider will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Kenny Ash officiating.  She will be laid to rest at Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Ryan Ash, Travis Ash, Alex Ash, Shaun Wood, Kenneth Crider, Jr. and Herbie Slaton honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour.
