Mrs. Shirley Eloise Robinson, age 79, of Rydal, GA, departed this life and went home to her heavenly Father, Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Cartersville Medical Center. Shirley was born September 8, 1936 in Pine Log, GA, the daughter of the late Hoke Lockaby and Viola Young Lockaby. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James B. Robinson, sons, Terry Waits, Scott Waits and Richard Waits; brothers, Billy Joe Lockaby, Raymond Lockaby. Shirley was a lifelong member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Shirley Eloise Robinson is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Anne and Scott Crider, daughter-in-law, Michelle Waits; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Lockaby; brother, Jack Lockaby; grandchildren, Jacob Waits, Zach Waits, Cord Crider, Haley Crider; great- granddaughter, Waverly Waits and many nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Shirley Eloise Robinson will be held, Thursday June 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Fairmount Chapel, with the Rev. James Surratt and Rev. Reggie Temples officiating. Music will be provided by Sally Jones and Butch Johnson. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Rydal GA, with Cord Crider, Jacob Waits, Jackson Lockaby, Billy Lockaby, Christopher Johnson and Eric Weaver serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Wednesday June 29, 2016 at Ponders Fairmount Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
