Mrs. Shelia Ann Holt, age 73, of Farner, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  She was born February 12, 1949 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Noble Clyde and Mary Wrethel Higdon Mahan. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, David Mahan, Gene Mahan, Rex Mahan.

She is survived by her husband, Lowell Dean Holt, Sr. of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Lowell Dean Holt, Jr. and Danielle Holt of Farner, TN; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry and Myona "Boots" Mahan of Ranger, GA; Matthew Mahan of Waleska, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy Childers of Calhoun, GA, Brenda and Doug McDaniel of Rydal, GA; grandchildren, Anya and Jonathan; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Saturday October 8, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. from the Salacoa Baptist Church Cemetery with Danny Helton, Doug McDaniel, Brent McDaniel, James Whitlow, Scotty Childers, and Scott Stafford serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Ponders Fairmount Chapel 2566 Hwy 411 Fairmount, GA 30721 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
