Mrs. Sharon "Jane" Elaine Moore, age 65, of Dalton, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on February 13, 2022. Sharon was born on September 22, 1956 in Sterns, Kentucky. She moved to Dalton in 1980 and met the love of her life, Ron Moore in 1984. In turn a very blended family was created. Sharon loved her family very much. She would've done anything for her family. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Huger and Wilda Waters; brothers, Leamon Waters, Roger Waters, Clint Waters and Pete Waters; sister, Kathy Burchfield.

Sharon leaves behind her husband of 38 years, Ron Moore; brothers, Bruce and Mattie Waters, Ronnie and Ronetta Waters; sister, Carol Cothran; children, Veronica and Scott Bartenfield, Beau Pittman, Jennifer and Kelsi Whitlock; grandchildren, Taylor Bartenfield and Cole Coffey, Amanda Fricks and David Davis, Chelsea Bartenfield, Ciera and Jesse Montgomery, Dylan and Chasity Bartenfield, Matthew Pittman and Skylar Patterson and Bryson Waters; great-grandchildren, Tatum Bartenfield, Gunner Canada, Haley Davis, Jaden King, Ashton Alvarado, Trace Davis, Kanyon Montgomery, Mavin Montgomery and Noelle Bartenfield.

Service to celebrate the life of Sharon will be held Wednesday February 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Chris Stanley officiating. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with, Patrick Burchfield, Daniel Waters, Mario Castillo, Cole Pelfrey, Robert Waters and Bryson Waters serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday February 15, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel. Also, from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday February 16, 2022 until the service hour of 1:00 p.m.
