Mr. Shannon Ray "Ray Ray" Hacker, age 38, of Cohutta, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the local hospital.  Shannon was born January 2, 1981 in Lexington, Kentucky.  He enjoyed animals, collecting stuff and video games.

He was preceded in death by his father, Farmer Ray Hacker and his grandfather, Clinton Decker.

He is survived by his companion of thirteen years, Heidi Kaye Peters of the residence; mother and step-father, Lois and Bill Wear; brother, Michael Wayne Hacker all of Cohutta, GA; grandmother, Zelma Decker; aunts and uncles, Pasty Bunch, Richard Decker, Ronald Decker, Rosie and Freddie Taylor, Donald Decker, Roberta and Phillip Webb all of Corbin, KY, Katherine and Clinton Banta of Tunnel Hill, GA, and Robert and Candi Decker of Hamersville, OH; special friend, Brad Jaynes of Dalton, GA; several cousins and many friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Shannon Ray Hacker will be held Thursday evening, March 21, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Vernon Reece officiating.  He will be laid to rest at 5:00 p.m. Friday March 22, 2019 at Calvary Cemetery, 149 Calvary Cemetery Rd, Corbin, Kentucky, 40701, with Brad Jaynes, David Banta, Freddie Taylor, Joe Veach, II, Jeremy Decker, Lynn Decker, Donald Decker, II, and James Nichols serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be his aunts, uncles and a special cousin, Kristi Linville.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday and from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Friday, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 1008 South Kentucky Ave, Corbin, KY, 40701.
