Mr. Saturnino De La Cruz, age 60, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday morning, November 4, 2022, at the AdventHealth Redmond in Rome, Georgia. Saturnino was born November 29, 1961, in Veracruz, Mexico, a son of the late Teodoro De La Cruz Martinez and Maria de la Paz Hernandez Cruz.

He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Saturnino was a kind-hearted, hard-working man that always had a smile on his face. He was most proud of being an abuelo to his 2 grandsons.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Nidia Becker De La Cruz of Veracruz, Mexico; sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Jasmina De La Cruz, and Hugh and Raelyn De La Cruz; grandchildren, Raylan De La Cruz and Oliver De La Cruz all of Dalton, GA; siblings Teodoro Jr., Ismael, Nicolas, Epifania, Brigida, Bernavita, Ignacia, Domitila, Maria de la Paz, Irma and Magali De La Cruz Hernandez and other family members.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Saturnino De La Cruz will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Kelly Grant officiating.

The family will receive family and friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour.
