Mrs. Sandra Sue Welch, age 75, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Monday July 17, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Sandra was born in Dalton, Georgia on December 18, 1941, a daughter to the late Reverend James and Mary Lee Belle Shoemaker Redwine. She was also preceded by her loving husband Thomas Welch Jr., a brother James Redwine, and sisters; Glenda Powers, Becky Burton and Rita Fields.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law; Stoney and Cindy Stephens of Resaca, Georgia, a daughter Phyllis Dobbins of Dalton, Georgia, a brother and sister in law; David and Kelly Redwine of East Ridge, TN, sisters and brother in law; Patricia and Ricky Martin of Chatsworth, Georgia, Wilma Elliot of White, Georgia, Wanda Hurst of Cleveland, TN. Sandra had 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

At the family's request a memorial service will be held at a later date.
