Ms. Sandra Louise "Nana" Oliver, 77, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Louise was born May 17, 1941 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Wilburn and Gladys Daisy Sutton Cooper. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Faye Wilson and her brother, Ronald Cooper, a niece, Karen McDonald and a brother-in-law, Burl McDonald.  Louise was a 1959 graduate of Valley Point High School.  She was retired from Roadway Express after thirty-five years, where she worked in customer service.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Gary Gunter of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Daphne and Anson High, Courtney Gunter and Kevin Garrett; great-grandchildren, Brevin Gunter, Ashton High, Anslei High, Talon Garrett and Tucker Garrett; sister, Dorothy McDonald of Dalton, GA; nephews and nieces, Marty and Cynthia Cooper, Stuart Gibson, Brian McDonald, Tanya and James Ford and Mitzi and Chip Barr.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Sandra Louise Oliver will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with her nephew, Reverend Marty Cooper officiating.  She will be laid to rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Brian McDonald, Brevin Gunter, Stuart Gibson, Gary Gunter, Anson High and Kevin Garrett serving as pallbearers.  The family will received friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until the service hour.
