Ms. Sandra Ann Buchanan, 56, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Friday, March 1, 2019 at her home. She was born November 8, 1962 in Dalton, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, John C. Walker, son, Matthew Henrey.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Tanya and Tommy Newby of Rocky Face, GA, Dana Knight of Dalton, GA; mother, Annie and Gene Pippins of Dalton, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Wayne and Shelia Walker of Rocky Face, GA, John Wayne Walker of Kentucky; sister, Denise Kittles of Ringgold, GA; five grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Sandra Ann Buchanan will be held Wednesday March 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.
