Mr. Sam Lamar Earley, age 59, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the local hospital. He was born February 7, 1955 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Sam Crumbly and Lois Lee Earley.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Kathie Earley of Rocky Face, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and Joe Strube of Baltimore, MD; Kristie and Dean Short of Cyprus, Tiffany and Alex Spadoni of Switzerland; sisters, Betty Babb, Louise Faith, Genevia Earley, Elaine Sisson; grandchildren, Hannah, Isaac, Levi, Eden; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Mr. Sam Lamar Earley will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Harmony Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Dan Akins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2014.
