Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Rogers age 86, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday April 3, 2019 at the local hospital. She was born May 3, 1932 in Harris County, TX a daughter of the late Julis Walter and Mattie Jane Neil Kuehn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, CB Rogers, stepdaughter, Hazel Beltrum.

She is survived by her step children, Charles and Mildred Rogers of Dalton, GA, Cullie Owenby of Chatsworth, GA, Donna Bradshaw of Houston, TX; brother, Bill Kuehn of Texas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Rogers will be held Sunday April 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Raymond Neal officiating. Interment will follow in the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
