Mrs. Ruth Ann Jones Worth, age 81, of Resaca, Georgia, passed peacefully to her eternal garden with all her loving children at her side on Wednesday March 30, 2022. Granny was preceded in death by her parents, Selma Jones, Frank and Francis Jones, 5 sisters, 3 brothers, grandson Bryan Matthew Worth, sons-in-law, Mark Holcomb, Dereck Brown. She loved to travel, word games, flowers and gardening. After leaving New Jersey State Corrections Center as Executive Secretary, she relocated to Dalton, GA, in 1976 where she continued her career in Human Resources at Springs Industries. She retired in 2003 after many years of service.

She is survived by her children, Cathy Brown of Adairsville, GA, Jim and Alex Worth of Resaca, GA, Veronica Holcomb of Dalton, GA, Beverly McCallie of Ringgold, GA; special family, Betsy and Tim Anderson of New Jersey; grandchildren, Melida and Anthony Burk, Adam and Mindy Holcomb, Nicole Weaver, Stephanie Evans, Zachary and Charlana Holcomb, Drew and Addie McCallie, Sarah McCallie; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her fur babies, Abby, Gucci, and Zoey, life long friend, Denise Marque Smart.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ruth Ann Jones Worth will be held Sunday April 3, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Marty Cooper and Reverend Drew McCallie officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
