Mrs. Ruth Ella Corn, age 65, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Tuesday September 14, 2021 at the Advent Gordon Hospital. She was born April 18, 1956 in Copper Hill, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Willa Mae Buchanan, husband, Bobby Gene Corn, sister Linda. She was employed at the Hamilton Medical Center.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Monica and Mark Boles of Etowah, TN, Wendy Kidd of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Alex Crofford, Cody and Coral Crofford, Hannah Jones, Lydia Kidd, Gabby Kidd; one brother.

Services will be held Sunday September 19, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Donald Shipman. Interment will follow in the Ponders Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.

At the families' request everyone must wear a mask while attending the funeral service and visitation.
