Ms. Ruby Lee Hall, age 74, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, August 11, 2013 at the local hospital. Ruby was born March 19, 1939 in the Tilton Community of Whitfield County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Charlie and Dee Harmon Townsend. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Lewis Morgan, her son, Mitchell Ray Morgan, sisters, Ruth Joyce, Mary Bell Bedwell and Betty Lidy and brothers, Curtis Townsend, Sr., Emery Townsend and Jack Townsend.

She is survived by her husband, John Thomas Hall; daughter, Sherry Rendon; grandson, Jeff Willis; great-grandchildren, Niya Hassett, Brandon Willis, Austin Willis and Mitchell Willis; sisters, Edna Cross, Geneva Lunsford, Maggie Mullins and Margaret Dale; special nieces, Rebena Long, Cathy Hughes and Marlene Lance; several other nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Ruby Lee Hall will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Chuck Harmon officiating. She will be laid to rest with her family at the Pocket Cemetery in Floyd County, Georgia, with her nephews serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour.
