Mrs. Ruby Baggett, age 85, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, May 17, 2021 at the Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was born December 19, 1935 in Jackson, AL a daughter of the late John and Mamie Odessa Montieth. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Jay Hamrick, John Baggett, son, Bobby Hamrick, four brothers, six sisters.

She is survived by her sons, John Hamrick, Steve and Elaine Hamrick of Chatsworth, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and James Thompson of Dalton, GA, Regina and Mike Grant of Centre, AL; grandchildren, Heather and Shane Fenwick, Millie and Robby Adams, Jeremy and Holly Thompson, Bobby and Kristin Hamrick, James Hamrick, Crystal Hamrick, Katrina Hamrick, Joseph Hamrick, Jennifer Hamrick, Jessica Hamrick; great grandchildren, Gracie Fenwick, Mollie Fenwick, Rider Fenwick, Damon Thompson, London Thompson, Bobby Hamrick Jr., Sully Adams, Cole Adams, Jared Grant  Marlee Jay Hamrick; and ten great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ruby Baggett will be held Friday May 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Paul Whitton officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
