Mr. Ruben J. Gill, age 79, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Early Friday Morning, February 14, 2020 at the Gordon Health and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Gill was born in Columbus, Georgia on February 24, 1940.  He was a son of the late Otto and Ophelia Gill.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his siblings.

He was retired from Shaw Industries.

Mr. Gill is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Jerry Lawson of Resaca; grandchildren, Audrey Lawson, Rebecca Lawson, and Jack Ruben Lawson.

At his request no formal services will be held.
