Mr. Roy Shelton, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday afternoon, April 26, 2024, at the Erlanger Medical Center. He was born May 10, 1953 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late William Charles and Tamer Jane Smith Shelton. He was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Betty Shelton, brother-in-law, Phillip Chapman.

He is survived by his sister, Betty Chapman; brothers and sister-in-law, Billy Joe Shelton, William and Sue Shelton all of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

He his request he will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
