Mrs. Rose Ann Henderson, age 75, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday evening, September 17, 2026, at a local hospital in Dalton.

Rose was born August 11, 1951, in Reliance, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Abe F. Taylor and Leonia Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Jack Henderson; daughters, Lisa Smith and Julie Goforth; and brothers, Walter Taylor, Jim Taylor, Larry Taylor, Donald Taylor, and Ronald Taylor.

Rose will be remembered for her happy spirit and the joy she found in spending time with her grandchildren. Her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, held a very special place in her heart.

She is survived by her daughter, Rena Graham of Dalton, Georgia; grandchildren, Taylor Bowling, Phillip Bowling, Tyler Smith, Lindsay Smith and Shelby Roberts all of Cohutta, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Emmalynn Smith, Jameson Smith, Janie Smith, Raylee Bowling, Easton Bowling, and Gabe Bowling; special friend, Cassie Bacon; niece and nephew, Tina and Jim Hehn of Dalton; and her little Yorkie and special companion, Belle.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Rose Ann Henderson will be held Monday morning, September 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel, with Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Cohutta Hill Community Church Cemetery.

Phillip Bowling, Tyler Smith, Nathan Cline, Justin Hullender, Adam Elder, Mike Pina, and Jim Hehn will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel on Monday morning after 9:00 a.m. until the service hour.
