Ms. Rosa Lee Larmon Allen, of Chatsworth, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, October 21, 2013 at the Hamilton Medical Center. Rosie was born January 11, 1941 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late L.A. and Inez Manis Foster. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Charles, Kenneth and Brad Foster, sisters, Janelle Mitchell, Brenda Clark and Barbara Farris. Rosie was a very strong willed person and loved to share stories with her family about all of her friends at the Chatsworth Health Care Center. She worked for several years outside the home, but mainly was a homemaker. Some of her most favorite times were singing "You Are My Sunshine" to her grandchildren. Known as "Maw Maw" to many people, she will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her children, Elaine Larmon Reed of Ringgold, GA, Wayne Larmon and Rick Larmon both of Dalton, GA; sister and caregiver, Arlene Noland of Chatsworth, GA; brother, David Foster of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Corey Larmon, Sarah, Elyssa, and Marielle Reed, Morgan and Molly Holmes; special nieces, Melissa Preston and Tonja Puryear of Chatsworth, GA, and Ellen Young of Dalton, GA; many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Rosie Larmon Allen will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 4:00 PM atPonders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Joey Wheat officiating. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.
