IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronnie Lee
Clark
March 13, 1957 – June 21, 2024
Ronnie Lee Clark, a beloved former resident of Dalton Georgia, bid farewell to this world peacefully on Friday June 21st, 2024. Formerly a resident of Atlanta, GA and resided in Dalton, GA at the age of 67. Ronnie, affectionately known as Ron, lived a remarkable life filled with love, laughter and compassion for others. He was a cherished member of Community Fellowship Church of Dalton Georgia where he held the position as minister of music for many years and will always be remembered for his keyboard playing style and affectionately being called Uncle Ron by everyone. Ron's dedication to his church family and Community was evident through his unselfish nature of always giving and his unwavering support for whatever needed to be done. His infectious smile and jokes could brighten the darkest of days and his kindness touched the lives of many.
Ron was a kind individual but had no problem speaking his mind, whatever he put his mind to do he did it and there was no changing it. With that attitude he gained much respect. If you had a problem, he didn't just watch you go through it he got in it with you and walked you through it. He never met a stranger and would often say "I know them from somewhere". Ron had a love of music, dancing, cooking, and watching movies while eating his favorite snacks. His vibrant personality and zest for life brought lots of joy to those who he encountered.
Ron received his primary learning at Tappan Elementary and Ravenna High School. After which he attended Bohecker's Business College in Ravenna Ohio. He later dedicated himself working in sales, which he was a top achiever and being employed in the mental health field.
Ron will be dearly missed, and his loving spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Ron was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Elijah Clark and Rebecca Cook of Hughes Arkansas, his Maternal Grandparents Mingo Hudson Sr. and Aza Lee (Murray) Moore of Sturgis Mississippi and his Parents Lee E. Clark and Barbara J. (Hudson) Clark of Ravenna Ohio.
Ron is survived by his wife Sharon Clark the loving mother of his Son Bryson Clark and his Daughter Ashlee (Clark) Shoemaker (Geran) and forthcoming Granddaughter (Baby Shoemaker) all of Dalton Georgia. Also five Brothers, Lee O. (Sonny) Clark of Suffield Ohio, Marvin Clark of Kent Ohio, Larry Clark (Mary) of Akron Ohio, Alvin "Bubba" Clark (Beverly) of Ravenna Ohio, and Jeffrey Clark of Atlanta Georgia, and one loving Sister Barbara F. (Clark) Gratton of Cleveland Ohio. 37 nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends, all of whom have their own fashion of love for Ron and will miss him dearly and cherish the memories they hold dear.
The Clark Family would also like to extend their appreciation to Will Swift for being such a great help to the family and being a wonderful Caregiver to Ron, throughout his journey.
