Mr. Ronnie Eugene "Button" Huggins, age 55, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, September 29, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Button was born May 22, 1959 in Dalton Georgia, a son of the late Ernest Huggins Sr. and Virginia Brock Huggins. He was also preceded in death by his brother Ernest Huggins Jr.

He is survived his companion, Kristie Franklin of the residence; sisters and brother-in-law, Pat Guess of Tunnel Hill, GA, Rhonda "Sissy" and Sammy Faw of Chatsworth, GA; nephews and nieces, Aaron Guess, special nephew and friend, Mark and April Guess, Reagan Guess, Lindsey Guess, Sadie Guess, Jamie Huggins, Bobby and Tonia Huggins, Kim Huggins; special friend Anthony Atkins of Tunnel Hill, GA; stepchildren, Seth Taylor, Jacob and Shannon Sawyers, Whitney and Brandon Bowen; grandchildren, Brookelyn and Rylan.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Ronnie Eugene "Button" Huggins will be held Thursday October 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Mike Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Richard Hannah, Jeff Guess, Bobby Franklin, Keith Leonard, Anthony Atkins and Michael Dobson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
