Mr. Ronald Stephen Busie, age 55, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Sunday evening, February 4, 2018 at the Hamilton Medical Center. Ronald was born February 19, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, Freeman B. Busie, brother, Phillip Busie.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Betty Busie of the residence; mother, Lexie Busie of Resaca, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Natasha Busie of Calhoun, GA, Aaron and Stephanie Busie, Joshua and Whitney of Dalton, GA; sister, Darlene Paynter of Resaca, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Marvin and Zelma Busie of Lynchburg, VA, Freeman Ben and Ilene Busie of Dalton, GA, James and Diane Busie of Chatsworth, GA, Michael and Lori Busie of Rocky Face, GA, David and Maria Busie of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Noah, Purity, Samuel, Ella, Isaac, and Maci; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Ronald Stephen Busie will be held Thursday February 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Marvin Busie and James Busie officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
