Mr. Ronald David Cronan age 64 of Cohutta, Georgia departed this life Monday April 1, 2019 at the local hospital.

Mr. Cronan was born in Dalton, Georgia on December 10, 1954.  He was a son of the late Calvin Isaiah and Cora Lee Stanley Cronan.  Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his former wife, Lora Ann Adkins Cronan; sister, Sandra Faye Mantooth; and a brother, Calvin Edward Cronan.

He was most recently employed by Mohawk Industries, and prior to that he was employed by Galaxy Carpet for twenty-six years.  He was a member of Gobblers Knob Church of God.

Mr. Cronan is survived by his, wife, Angie Hawkins Cronan; sons and daughter-in-law, Gabriel Ronald Cronan of Sacramento, California, Jacob Anson and Amy Cronan of Cohutta, Georgia; step-son, Joey Worsham of North Carolina; step-daughter, Ryan Worsham of Kentucky; grandson, Jacob Levi Cronan; step-granddaughter, Story Kaiser; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Wanda Cronan, Alvin and Debbie Cronan all of Cohutta, Georgia, Avery and Lisa Cronan of Calhoun, Georgia; mother of his children, Debbie Sue Peden Whaley of East Ridge, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Ronald Cronan will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Blake Fowler officiating.  Mr. Cronan will be laid to rest at the Boyd Cemetery in Cohutta, Georgia.  Nathanial Cronan, Jeremy Cronan, Tanner Cronan, Roman Henderson, Hunter Cronan, and Ellen Cronan will serve as pallbearers.

The Cronan family will receive friends on Thursday, April, 4, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Ponders Melrose Chapel.
