Mr. Ronald James "Pluty" Collins, age 59, departed this life, Monday, June 6, 2016 at Gordon Hospital. Pluty was born January 21, 1957 to the late P.B. Collins Jr. and Edna Bramblett Collins.
Pluty was also preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Collins and sister, Patsy Hightower. Pluty worked many years in the farming community and worked thirty- two years at Wyatt Farms.

Mr. Ronald James "Pluty" Collins is survived by his wife of twenty years, Sandra Collins; brother, Terry and Tawana Collins of Calhoun, GA; sister, Brenda and Johnny Fairbanks of Sonorville, GA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends. Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Ronald James "Pluty" Collins will be held, Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., from Ponders Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Chris Pack officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain Top Cemetery in Pickens County with Jerry Collins, Terry Collins, Michael Ware, Daniel Payne, Andy Buchanan, Chris Fairbanks, Bryson Brannon and Bobby Collins serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday June 8, 2016 at Ponder Calhoun Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. Thursday June 9, 2016 until the service hour.
