Obituary

Robin Austin Williams, was born August 4, 1991, in Pelham, Georgia, and in the early hours of May 24, 2026, he found himself standing in the presence of his precious Savior, Jesus Christ. Born to Ginger Rae Fullmore Tipton, daughter of Sherry Bebee Fullmore and Frank Fullmore, Robin entered this world with spina bifida and uncertain expectations surrounding his future. Yet from the very beginning, Robin’s life became a testimony of love, faith, resilience, and purpose.

Though some saw disability, Robin never did. He would quickly remind others that he was not handicapped, but exactly who God intended him to be, believing wholeheartedly that God does not make mistakes. His unwavering faith shaped the way he viewed himself and the world around him. Robin lived with courage and conviction, refusing to allow limitations to define his spirit.

As a young child, Robin could often be found with sparkling eyes, scraped knees, and laughter that bubbled over endlessly. His family surrounded him with extraordinary love, and at the age of four, his beloved granddad, John Tipton, stepped forward to become his guardian. From that day forward, the bond between granddad and grandson became something rare and beautiful. Robin affectionately referred to his grandfather as his “partner in crime,” and together they shared a lifetime of love, humor, mischief, and unwavering devotion to one another. Robin’s gentle habit of touching his granddad’s cheek and remarking that it felt “like a baby’s cheek” became one of the many tender memories treasured by those closest to him.

Robin was a 2012 graduate of Dalton High School, a devoted member of Crown View Baptist Church, and a proud volunteer at Hamilton Medical Center. He was also a member of the Miracle League Association and possessed remarkable artistic talent. While he was an enthusiastic wrestling fan, those who knew him best understood that beneath his passion was one of the gentlest souls God ever created.

Robin’s laughter, thoughtful nature, and sincere concern for others reflected a life deeply rooted in Christian faith. His trust in Christ allowed him to live without fear of death and with anticipation of one day walking beside his Savior in Heaven. That faith profoundly influenced everyone privileged enough to know him. Robin’s life reminds all who loved him that joy can flourish amid hardship, faith can overcome uncertainty, and purpose is found in being exactly who God created us to be.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sherry Fullmore.

Robin is survived by his parents, Ginger Fullmore Tipton of Harrington, Delaware, and Justin Tipton of Chattanooga, Tennessee; sisters, Amber Tipton, Breannah Tipton, Courtney Tipton, America and Lyle Combs, Chelsea Tipton, and Danielle Davidson; brothers, Isaak Tipton and Grayson Gillis; aunts and uncles, Sheldon and Anastasia Tipton, Golda Hamilton, Damien Hamilton, Summer and Clarie Arnold, Chris Vincent, Tressie Fullmore, Ashley and Rusty Rice, Frank Fullmore III, and Jeffrey Fullmore; nephew, Atticus John Deibert; along with many cousins, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were forever enriched by knowing Robin.
