Mr. Robert Ray Lowery, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 19, 1943 in Dalton, Georgia a son of the late George and Mamie Shelton Lowery. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Frank Lowery, Edith Lowery Garrett, Florance Lowery Martin, Lawrence Lowery, Geneva Lowery, Clifford Lowery, George Lowery, Leroy Lowery, Annie Lowery. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Cleo Manley Lowery of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Evette Lowery and Ben Wheeler of Ringgold, GA; grandson, Jacob and Kolbee Wheeler; granddaughter, Starsha Wheeler and Rodney Ensor; great grandchildren, Baylee, Easton, Kolson, Aubrey, Emerson, Bennett all of Dalton, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Vera and Leslie Chambers of Cohutta, GA; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
