Mr. Robert "Bob" Johnny Givens, age 66, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Friday, July 7, 2017 at his residence. Bob was born September 3, 1950 in Pineville, KY, a son of the late Vernon and Katherine Givens. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Cronic, daughter, Cynthia White. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gladys Davis Givens of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Connie Cronic, Brian Givens of Dalton, GA, Dave and Beverly Cronic of Talking Rock, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Mike Howard of Cleveland, TN; one brother, three sisters, eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Robert "Bob" Johnny Givens will be held Tuesday July 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Darey Kittle officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens. The family will receive at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
