Mr. Robert "Austin" Harris, age 26, of Cartersville, Georgia, departed this life Monday, February 8, 2021 at his home. He was born August 17, 1994 in Decatur, GA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubert and Norma Chaney. He was a graduate of Woodland High School where he played in the Honors Band.

He is survived by his father, James Robert Harris of Woodstock, GA; mother and stepfather, Dedra Renee and Mark Denison Dalton, GA; grandfather, James C. Harris Jr. of Blairsville, GA; grandmother, Elizabeth Annette Harris of Cumming, GA; brother, Stephen Tate of Dalton, GA; sister, Joann Denison of Huntsville, AL; fiancée, Jessyca Arndt of Cartersville, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Robert "Austin" Harris will be held Wednesday February 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother Clyde Mcentyre officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
