Mr. Robert "Allen" Brooks age 57, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday
November 12, 2019 at the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born September
12, 1962 in Athens, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Brooks Sr.,
wife, Susan Immaculata Brooks, grandson, Sebastian Lankford.
He was a member of Saint Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Roswell, Georgia.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Seante and Jeff Carter of Florence, KY,
Christa and Brandon Speights of Dalton, GA, Gloria and Joshua Atkins of Dalton, GA;
sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Bolton and Sara Smith of Tunnel Hill, GA, William
and Samantha Brooks of Chatsworth, GA; mother, Ota Lou Brooks of Dalton, GA;
brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Brooks Jr. and Melissa Brooks of Dalton, GA; sister,
Cheryl Brooks of Dalton, GA; twenty four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He loved and was greatly loved by too many aunts, uncles and cousins to mention.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday November 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at
Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Father Christopher Danel officiating. He will be
laid to rest beside his wife in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The
family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
