Mr. Robert H. Brock Sr., age 95, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday morning, December 21, 2022 at Chatsworth Health Care.

Robert was born August 4, 1927 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late Jesse and Birtie Mullins Brock.  He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Frances Morgan Brock, his son, Gary Lynn Brock, grandson, Tommy Blake Brock, brothers, John Frank Brock and Bradford Brock, sisters, Frances Demuth, Cora Lee Robinson, Jettie Hill Ellis, and Rachel Strippling.

Robert proudly served his country, and was retired from the U.S. Airforce, having served over twenty-two years and also retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections where he worked at the Elbert Shaw Regional Youth Development Center. He served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Dalton American Legion Post #112. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church since 1940.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jackie Brock, Jr. of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Crystal and Jericho Lambert, Robert "Bobby" Brock, III, Gary Brock, Jr., Leigh Ann Massengill and Kenny Massengill; adopted granddaughter, Christa Byrd; great-grandchildren, Jenna Lambert, Jaycee Lambert and Ayanna Corzine; great-great-grandson, Xeryus Gibbs, aka, "Payback"; several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday January 22, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at the Pine Grove Baptist Church at 4004 Airport Rd SE Dalton, GA 30721 with Pastor Kelly Grant officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 112.

Inurnment for Robert and Frances will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
