Mr. Robert Lee Boling, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday morning, August 12, 2014 at his home. Robert was born January 19, 1933 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late W.E and Annie Carroll Boling. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Boling, sisters, Helen Vaughn, Kathleen Hughey, Aldean Timms.

He is survived by his wife, Jesse Jewel Boling; sons, Randall Boling of Dalton, GA, Steve Boling of Chatsworth, GA, Timmy and Kathy Boling of Dalton, GA, Robert and Kim Boling of Chatsworth, GA; daughters, Brenda and Greg Mills of Chatsworth, GA, Patricia Boling of Varnell, GA; brothers, James Boling, William Elmer Boling Jr. of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Edna Gibson of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Shawn Whaley, Chad Teem, Zach Teem, Tiffany Hankins, Brittany Miller, Daniel Boling, Brandon Jackson, Stasha Mills, Kevin Mills, Andy Boling, Amanda Lively, Rayne Boling, Krissy Poe, Blake Boling, Cassi Thurman, Whitney Boling, Brooke Slaherty; several great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Robert Lee Boling will be held Thursday August 14, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Allen Hughey officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
