Mr. Robert Larry "Mumbles" Terry, age 66 of Dalton, GA, departed this life on June 24, 2015 at the local hospital. Mumbles was born July 24, 1948 in Rome, Georgia, son of the late Robert Columbus "RC" and Syble Pritchett Terry. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was employed for Brindle Brothers Auto Parts for forty years.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin and Simmie Terry, Mike and Stephanie Terry all of Dalton, GA; sister, Reba Carol Terry of Villa Rica, GA; nieces, Leisa Gulledge, Neisha Woodall, Richard Hayes Jr., all of Villa Rica, GA; nephews, Tyler Terry and Trey Terry of Dalton, GA and special aunt, Linda Langford of Tennga, GA; and special friends, Leon, Faye, Chip and Annie Brindle.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Robert Larry "Mumbles" Terry will be held Saturday June 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Gary McPherson and Pastor Cecil Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Murray County with Tyler Terry, Trey Terry, Chip Brindle, Mike Brindle, Larry Kilgore and Bryan Burke serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
