Mr. Robert Michael "Mike" Hughes 55 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Tuesday at the local hospital. Mike was born February 9, 1960 in Copper Hill, Tennessee, a son of the late Charlie and Dorothy Cook Hughes. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, B.J. Hughes, Johnny Hughes, sisters, Jerri Dobbs, Arene Hughes, Linnie Joe Hughes.

He is survived by his son, Michael Nathan Hughes of Chatsworth, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Hannah Nicole and Joshua Davis of Sylacauga, AL; sisters, Hilda Chadwick of Virginia, Charlie Sue Morris of Murphy, North Carolina; grandchildren, Natalie and Landon Davis; nieces and nephews.

At Mike's request he will be cremated at Dalton Crematory and no services will be held at this time.
