Mr. Robert Labron "Bobby" McClure, Sr., age 66, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, February 13, 2017 at his home.

Bobby was born October 30, 1950 in Catoosa County, Georgia, a son of the late Charlie Raymond and Dorothy Louise Dean McClure. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Eva Neal, Brenda McClure and Shirley and Charlie Sneed, brothers, Charles Wendell McClure, Eddy Ladon McClure, Marvin Lee and Pearlene McClure.

Bobby was retired from Galaxy Carpet Mills and attended Ridge Road Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Dennis Henry of Calhoun, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Lubron and Michelle McClure of Tunnel Hill, GA, Andy McClure of Dalton, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Donald McClure, Melvin and Cheryl McClure all of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Whitney McClure, Alex McClure, Austin Allen, Garrett McClure, Ashlee Price, Seth Evans and Brayden Henry; four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Bobby McClure will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Howard Strickland officiating. He will be laid to rest at West Hill Cemetery with Austin Allen, Alex McClure, Garrett McClure, Seth Evans, Brandon Price and Tyler Steinbeck serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the service hour.
