Mr. Robert Leon "Bob" Lynch, age 75, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday morning, May 1, 2014 at his home. Bob was born October 27, 1938 in Fort Payne, Alabama, a son of the late William and Mary Lou Wisner Lynch. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Geneva James, Inez Brooks and Wanda Long, his brothers, Henry B. Lynch and James C. Lynch.

He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Allen Lynch of Cohutta, GA, Richard and Derichia Lynch of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Julianna and Jase Lynch; mother of his children, Mattie Lucille Fowler of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Charlyn Williams of Rossville, GA; special friend, Jimmy "Dutch" Holland of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Robert Leon "Bob" Lynch will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Lonnie Starnes officiating. He will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens with Frank Norris, Zach Sanders, Zachery Sanders, Jody Jones, Ben Daniels and Trey Starnes serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and after 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning until the service hour.
