Mr. Ricky Clayton Long, age 53, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, July 31, 2013 his residence. Ricky was born February 14, 1960 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late Jimmy and Lorene Dunn Long.

He is survived by his former wife, Marlene Long; sons and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Jordan Long; Aaron Long; daughter, Amber Long; grandchildren, Trinity Long, Bradley Massingill and Autumn Marie Anderson; mother-in-law, Mary Whisenant; brothers, Michael, Timmy, Ronnie and Stacy Long.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Ricky Clayton Long will be held Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend James Watts officiating. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 12:00 noon Saturday, August 10, 2013 until the service hour.
