Mr. Richard Lee Walker Jr., age 69, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Thursday evening, December 28, 2023 at AdventHealth Gordon. He was born August 14, 1954 in Trenton, New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Walker, daughter Jessica Fields, brothers Robert Walker, Daryl Walker. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Walker of the residence; son, Johnathan Walker; daughter, Heather Gilbert; father, Richard Walker Sr. all of Chatsworth, GA; brother, Fredrick Walker of Flintstone, GA; sisters-in-law, Tammy Walker of Utha, Virginia Walker of Dalton, GA, Diane Walker of Lafayette, GA; thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Richard Lee Walker Jr. will be held Wednesday January 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
