Mr. Richard "Rickie" Wade Williams, age 69 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the local hospital. He was born March 26, 1955 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late Horace and Barbara Williams. He was also preceded in death by his stepmom Louise Williams, grandparents Charlie and Buelah Williams, John Franklin and Mary Nell Holland, brother Terry Williams, aunts and uncles Gladys Jackson, Willie Faye Greene, Emmett Williams, Bobbie Ray Williams, Frank Williams, step daughter Cindy Beavers. He was a Vietnam Veteran, Special Forces, E4 in the United States Army.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Richard Hannah of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lloyd Ladell Williams and Christy McEntyre, Phillip Max and Donna Williams of Chatsworth, GA; aunts, Marcell Nicholson, Nellie Shoemaker of Chatsworth, GA, Janet Stone of Resaca, GA; stepchildren, Carl Hughes of Tunnel Hill, GA, Carol Williams of Dalton, GA; step grandchildren, Jonathan Atkins, Trey Eades, Ashley Parsons; former wife, Joan Williams of Tunnel Hill, GA; special friends, Jeremy Parsons and  Elizabeth Valdez of Cohutta, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00am from the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
