Mr. Richard Inace Moore, 81, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday morning, March 7, 2018 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Moore was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 24, 1936, a son of the late William Walter and Jessie Mae Tapley Moore. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Taylor; brothers, James and Robert Moore; sisters, Marvene Snider, Geneva Cottle, Naomie Drummond, and Betty Chapman.
Mr. Moore was a Veteran of the Military having served his country in the United States Navy. He was retired from the United States Postal Service where he had started as a clerk and ended his career serving in management.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Still Moore of the home; daugthers, Connie Lynn Huggins of Calhoun, Georgia, Pamela Joan Alred of Smyrna, Georgia, and Angie McDonald of New Jersey; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.
To fulfill Mr. Moore's final wishes, he will be cremated and no formal services will be held at this time.
