Mr. Richard Lee Fisher, age 63, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, June 12, 2017 at the local hospital. Richard was born December 21, 1953 in Ellijay, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, M. C. and Elizabeth Tate Fisher and his wife Wanda Faye Fisher.

He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Lamar Patton of Resaca, GA, Marie and Jerry Marlow of Ellijay, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Regina Fisher of Florida; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Richard Lee Fisher will be held Wednesday June 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Alfred Freeman and Reverend Brian Maddox officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Hall Memorial Church with Michael Marlow, Michael Raby, Noah Cloer, Bailey Cloer, Kenneth Patton and Lamar Patton serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
