Mr. Richard Michael Balde, age 53 of Fairmount, GA, departed this life Monday October 30, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born July 14, 1964 in Elgin, IL the son of the Fred Balde and the stepson of the late John Federer.

Mr. Richard Michael Balde is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sheila Mae Mckinney Balde; mother, Margaret Federer; son, Delmar ( Christa) Ledford of Ranger, GA; daughters, Amanda Ledford of Chatsworth, GA, Crystal (Nick) Thurman of Fairmount, GA; brothers, Fred Balde of Ootawah, TN, David (Sarah) Balde of Sheboygan, WI; sister, Denise(Steve) Perry of Elgart Lake, WI, Sharon Rickeret of Maryville, GA; grandchildren, Becca Lynn Ledford, Cody Ledford, Matt Ledford, Katie Ledford, McKinley Thurman, Mckayla Thurman, many nieces and nephews.

It was Richard's request that no service be held.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
