Ms. Rhonda Faye Smith Gazaway, age 53, of Chatsworth, GA, made her heavenly flight to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday October 15, 2017 at her residence. Rhonda was born September 10, 1964 in Dalton, GA, the daughter of the late Floyd Lamar Smith and Barbara Jean Holden Smith. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Mitchell Smith and Dewayne Smith. Rhonda was a member of Northwest Christian Fellowship. She cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

Ms. Rhonda Faye Smith Gazaway is survived by her son, Brandon Hawkins of Dalton, GA; daughter, Hannah (Jake) Franks of Rocky Face, GA; brothers, Roger (Mandy) Smith, Rodney Boyd, all of Dalton, GA; sisters, Teresa Holcomb, Susan (Gary) Moore all of Dalton, GA, Pam (Jeff) Moore of Florida, Karen (Michael) king of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Kaylee Franks and Waylon Franks; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Rhonda Faye Smith Gazaway will be held Friday October 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Neal Hasty officiating. Burial will follow the service at West Hill Cemetery with Jaydon Moore, Josh Greeson, Andrew King, Michael King, Ryan Smith, David Moore and Taylor Smith serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday October 19, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 11:00 am Friday until the time of the service.
