Ms. Rena Gay (Corn) Chambers, age 58, of Ranger, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, June 3, 2024, at her home.

Rena was born July 18, 1965, in Smokey Junction, Tennessee, and a daughter of the late Reverend Fred and Georgia Gibson.  She was a 1983 graduate of Scott County High School, in Oneida, Tennessee. She was a former employee of Engineer Floors in Calhoun, Georgia.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Arthur Gibson.

Rena is survived by her husband, David R. Corn of the residence, and would have celebrated their thirty-fourth wedding anniversary on December 15, 2024; son, Jay Chambers, Jr. of Helenwood, TN; daughters and son-in-law, Robin and Travis Mayfield of Resaca, GA, Annie Chambers of Williamsburg, KY, and Tammy Byrd of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Hanna, Emily and Marlana Foutz, Koda St. John, Kalie Stephens, Colt Stephens, Zoey Stephens, Andrew Chambers, Jeremiah Chambers, Tawanna Chambers, Jonathon Judy and Emma Mayfield; great-grandchildren, Zanoviah Gordon and Kyren Foutz; sisters and brother-in-law, Fay and Marvin Gross of Resaca, GA, Sharon Williford of Harriman, TN, and Rachel Gibson of Indianapolis, IN; special cousins, Lisa and Charles Crawley of Ranger, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roy and Linda Corn of Lancing, MI; several nieces and nephews.

She will be laid to rest with her parents at Riverview Cemetery in Smokey Junction, Tennessee.
