Mrs. Reina Christina Cruz age 74 of Dalton, Georgia departed this life Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia. She was born October 26, 1951 in Honduras, a daughter of the late Jose Garcia Sr. and Josefa Salome Martinez. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jose Garcia Jr., sisters, Enma Garcia, Lidia Garcia, Vidalia Garcia, Amgela Martinez Garcia.

She is survived by her husband, Rigoberto Cruz Rubi of the residence; sons, Oscar Armondo Villela Garcia, Hector Raul Villela Garcia of Dalton, GA, Carlos Arturo Villela Garcia, Nelson Javier Villela Garcia of Honduras; daughter, Karla Patricia Villela Garcia of Honduras; sister, Vilma Martinez of Honduras; 36 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Reina Christina Cruz will be held Friday February 13, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with her son Oscar Armando Villela Garcia officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday. Interment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
