Mr. Raymond Silvers, age 78, of Cohutta, GA, departed this life, Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center with his family at his side. Raymond was born June 21, 1936 to the late Ed Silvers and Gladys Corn Silvers. He was also preceded in death by his wife Annie "Sue" Silvers, brothers; Junior Silvers, Ronnie Silvers.

Mr. Raymond Silvers is survived by his children, Raymond Michael and Kimberly Silvers, Jeff and Tammy Silvers, both of Cohutta, GA., Linda and Billy Kendrick of Dalton, GA; brothers, Ralph Silvers of Coco Beach, FL, Tim and Marilyn of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Barbara and Johnny Love of Rocky Face, GA; grandchildren; Joshua Silvers, Phillip Clark, Justin and Sara Silvers, Elizabeth Silvers, Shane and Gretchen Barkley, Brandy Tallent, Trevor Silvers, great- grandchildren; Lyam Clark, Aislinn Clark, Abigal Mae Silvers, Destiny Tallent and Jonathan Perez.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Raymond Silvers, will be held Saturday May 16, 2015 at 2:00 from the Ponders Melrose Chapel, with Rev. Neal Hasty officiating. Interment will follow at Whitfield Memorial Gardens, with the American Legion Post 112 performing military graveside rites.

The family will receive friends, Friday May 15, 2015 from 5:00p.m til 9:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. on Saturday May 16, 2015 until the service hour.
