Mr. Raymond T. "Ray" Hall, age 81, of Magnolia, Texas, departed this life, January 1, 2022 at his home. He was born December 17, 1940 in Dalton, GA. He was a 1960 graduate of Valley Point High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served for 20 years. After retiring from the Navy he worked 20 years in security at Sharp Hospital in San Diego, California.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Frances and Charlie Cook, father and stepmother, Tilmon and Violet Hall, sisters, Ruth Artrip, Brenda Kost, brothers, Kenneth Hall, Alton Hall, JT Hall, mother of his children, Molly Hall, step daughter, Tracie Tyssee.

He is survived by his wife, Lynne Legare Hall; son, Raymond Hall Jr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Jaimee and John Bass, Vickey and Doug McDonough; grandchildren, Chris McDonough, Dylan Bass; sisters, Beth Rhudy, Phyllis Defore; brother-in-law, Mike Kost Sr.; sister-in-law, Evelyn Hall; stepchildren, Kelli Lagare, Miguel Marrujo, Glenn Legare, Mendy Jasek; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Saturday June 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Bruce Beach officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Patriot Guard Riders will escort him to his final resting place at Dunagan Cemetery with Military Honors.
