Mr. Randy Ray Brookshire, age 65, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, February 7, 2024. He was born October 18, 1958 in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Veneta and Harry Wright.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Louie and Cindy Brookshire of Dalton, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Faith Brookshire; daughter and son-in-law, Brittney and Jason Pendergrass; grandchildren, Cade Brookshire, Raylin Brookshire, Kinley Pendergrass, Carter Pendergrass all of Cohutta, GA; brothers, Ronnie Brookshire of Daytona Beach, FL, Nathan Brookshire of Dalton, GA; sisters, Chrissy Clarkson of Daytona Beach, FL, Lisa Hilditch of Knoxville, TN, Celeste and Jerry Thomason of Chatsworth, GA, Susie Stanford of Okeechobee, FL; nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Randy Ray Brookshire will be held Monday February 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey and Reverend Jeremy Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
